Boarding
Whether you are going to be gone for one night or several weeks, Petite Paws Bed &
Bark-Inn is the place for your small dog to stay in style. Each dog has their own 16
square foot area. We have wire crates if they like their private space, toys, soft
blankets, and dog beds. Of course many of our guests prefer to bring their own
crates, beds and toys – whatever makes your little one feel good. One family even
provided a picture of themselves for their little girl. The dogs are closely
supervised and taken outside frequently. The dogs will be provided with toys and
they will have lots of human and dog interaction. Their nights are spent in comfortable
wire crates with thick crate pads. We serve the dogs breakfast and dinner to your
specifications and feed the food that you bring for them at no extra charge.
Daycare
Don't leave your best friend
home all day while you are at work. Send them to daycare at Petite Paws
where they will have fun playing with other small dogs. They will come
home both tired and content. Dogs will have some supervised outside play
time when the weather is nice and they will have frequent potty breaks
outside year round. All outside time is supervised in a securely fenced
"dog yard." Temperament testing is required for all dogs attending
daycare. Intact animals will be separated by sex.
Hospice Care
Hospice care is designed for the
elderly, injured, post-surgical, and pre-whelp small dogs. No dogs with
infectious diseases will be accepted. However, dogs requiring medication
or supervision after surgery are more than welcome to come spend their
days convalescing in our special Hospice room. Qualified staff will
provide continual supervision and you can relax knowing that we will be
vigilantly attending to your pet. We know that it's not always possible
for you to take off work to be with your pets when they are recovering so
we do it for you. We are there to discourage licking of incisions, to
administer medications, to make sure that the dogs are eating and drinking
and provide that extra cuddle to help speed up the healing process.
